Auberon's fiber used for this batting is dense, has a very good stable length, contains crinkle throughout and was easily processed into a soft, beautiful white batting for those many projects including spinning where batting is used. Because of the lack of lanolin in alpaca fiber there is no need to wash it until it is spun. Auberon's fiber contains the least amount of vegetation of any of our alpacas.
